Improved Essays
I’m writing to inform you of conversations I’ve had with PFF Miller in response to our multiple conversation about his performance, and professionalism around the station. I believe these details will aid in counseling/coaching PFF Miller about the importance of being respectful, especially in light of other more recent comments he has directed at our volunteers.

Upon his arrival to station 19, I had a meeting with PFF Miller detailing my thoughts on the following three expectations:
1) Provide Service
2) Improve
3) Have fun
PFF Miller understood those expectations, and that they should be coupled with his company officers expectations. This conversation occurred on or prior to April 1st. I took the opportunity on one of two occasions,

After retiring from performing for a live crowd, Gould focused on studio recordings and radio shows. His anxiety while performing at concerts did not disappear after his retirement from stage, instead it shifted to the studio. In addition since he possessed limited amounts of education, Gould resorted to using sophisticated terms while conversing with others. Sadly, often what he said make very little sense as he used these words in the wrong context (Ostwald, 225). This in turn, affected his ability to take part in live interviews.…

After stepping into Major Warren’s position, there are several considerations that could be made and certain activities that could be done differently from his initial implemented plans. When preparing for such an extraordinary meeting, it is important when the planners consider other factors apart from the intelligence reports that are available. As a planner of such an event of this magnitude, the first thing to do is to assess the past events that have taken place in the country of such weight. These events would offer each individual with a great opportunity to understand what the event will require, and specific measures that should be to be taken for the event to be as a success. Such an assessment may also involve assessing the nature…

I definitely agree with Dana Bristol-Smith. In professional environments news definitely need to be upfront when delivering them, while still being sensitive to the employees needs. To circle around important news or even wait to announce the news, regardless of the level of seriousness, is unprofessional and doesn’t benefit anybody. An example of a situation is when a supervisor has to let his employees know of possible lay-offs. The supervisor needs to make this known to the employees so they can prepare for the future, if he doesn’t, the lay-off will leave the employees surprised and un-employed.…

Well, approximately five minutes before it was our turn to facilitate our exercise, feeling a little anxious about how it was going to go, Caleb decided to switch it up at the last moment to a puzzle game named “9 Dot Puzzle.” Since he has completed the exercise before, he felt that it would provide more of a conflict resolution style outcome unlike our first activity. Emily and I did not mind that he wanted to change it, then again on such short notice we decided to let him take the lead when it came to facilitating because we didn’t have too much time to go over it before it was our turn. I personally believe if Spencer was there we would have done the first activity because the original plan was his in the first place and he would have been…

Hello, This year has been very trying on us as a department and we have seen people leave and the team has experienced a lot of growing pains. The team has remained vigilante and persevered through it, however there has been one TC that has not been able to adjust to the changing dynamics. It is unfortunate that I need to advise that at this point Joseph Davis has fallen to last place in the ranking in my team and has really become a negative force. From the beginning of the year until now there has been a steady decline in Joey’s professionalism and work ethic. I had very high hopes for Joey, since he was the more seasoned TC and had the drive; I felt he would make a great leader within First American.…

Dr. K struggles with a moral dilemma, should he or shouldn’t he tell Nora about her mother’s affair. The argument will be presented that if Dr. K were not to tell Nora, it would have more disadvantages than advantages. However, I will by arguing that Dr. K should tell Nora about Mrs. M’s affair with Mr. X for it will be most beneficial to Nora because it grants her the most rights, specifically the most autonomy, with the assumption that both Dr. K and Nora are rational individuals. My initial argument is that Dr. K should tell Nora about Mrs. M’s affair because it is morally impermissible to deceive a patient.…
