Response To Jodee's Please Stop Laughing At Me

In the book “Please Stop Laughing at Me” by Jodee Blanco, Jodee talked about her own life. When she was in high school, she was bullied because her classmates did not like her. She through the book to talk about her own experience, she is very brave. Also, it could prove these experience will not influence her life anymore. In this semester, I have read two articles and one video, and I think I understand them very well. They are “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg, “I Just Wanna be Average” by Mike Rose, and “The Key to Success” by Angela Duckworth. There are also some connects with the book “Please Stop Laughing at Me”. He was be put in the low level of class, but he did not try to complain with the manager of school. He tried to fit in the class, and find out the reason why this is the low level of class. He talked that there are still some unfair in school. If everybody can be faired in school, and teachers gave the same patient with them. Everyone can be a good student. There are also some connects with the book “Please Stop Laughing at Me”. The author Jodee was bullied by her classmates in school. Her classmates like the students in the low level of class. Also, the teachers did not educate them in a correct way. Maybe the teacher neglect these bad students. These students who bullied Jodee felt unfair in school. As a result, they saw Jodee studied very well in school, and teacher like Jodee. They started hate Jodee. Students are grew up from a baby. They are all good kids when they are young, they just need somebody to help them to go into a correct way. For example, in the book “Please Stop Laughing at Me”, the author Jodee learned very well and felt happy in school before her fifth grade. She did the same in school, but she was bullied after fifth grade. It means that everybody was good at the beginning. Maybe there are some places influenced their heart, and made them did these bad things. Education is an important thing, if every student can get the same treatment in school. Jodee may not bully by her classmates. Maybe she would have a wonderful time in school. Jodee’s experience can be a little thing in the world. But it can always remind people to pay attention to the education. It is not only teach the knowledge to students, they also need to pay attention to educate the behavior of students.
