I feel that Griet is very got a painting the reader a mental picture of every act she performing. The way she lets the reader know what going on in her head, and how she performs these actions. To one, it could feel like a detailed roleplay, which many people do on reddit. I also feel she gives a detail description is because of her father. The viewers learned that her father is blinded by a factory explosion. So some details, one can feel that she trying to give her father the best detail description. Like how she nodded her head, how she real feel. Also, the only book I really read with a narrator is Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book. She even tells us what she looks like, and what she prefers her hair to be. One can tell
