Food Inc. highlights the dangers and limitations of corporate farming here in the U.S. Specifically it aims to expose the harmful and unhealthy effects of agribusinesses. The American supermarket, a common place to all of us, is where the documentary starts. They focus on the marketing techniques that give us a false imagery to the actuality of the process in which this food is made. It is represented as being produced in comparison to organic farming practices by displaying a big red barn and green pastures when it is actually manufactured in a factory and/or genetically modified.
