Response Letter To Daycare

Decent Essays
I feel compelled to write this letter following my recent experience on April 7th, 2017. There seem to be some issues with this letter, as it falls apart when considering the ratio of the students who like and ones who dislike the meal offered by the Swift nutrition. Firstly, the mother who wrote this letter has only heard about the food from her son and his friends. She has not spoken to other students from his class and not with other parents. It might be that her son is fond of very healthy foods, including excessive fats and calories. He could have plotted with his friends about the issue to deceive her mother so that she can give him healthy food in the lunchbox.…

Observation: The YMCA daycare program is very different from Hope. I went back and forth between the two classrooms with children from ages 2 to 4 and I even spent a bit of time in the infant room. I learned more about the different temperaments of the children and how to address them. In addition, I also saw how children three to four years of age did not know how to say what they wanted so they would hit and throw things. I would have to say the biggest thing that I learned today was figuring how to get a positive behavior and not to reinforce a negative behavior.…
