Response Essay: The Importance Of Bullying In High School

The movie Bully sparked a lot of school board situations that occur on an everyday bases today within our elementary, junior high and high schools. I feel like bullying is something that has occurred for quite some time now throughout the years. Bullying is even glorified in a lot of what we see on T.V today it’s something to laugh at rather being something to frowned upon. I feel like school systems today could definitely do a better job on keeping tabs on potential school bullies. School bullies really have an effect on the way a child/person can learn if the child fears to come to school that makes the focus on learning nearly impossible. Sympathy really isn’t given when it comes to a lot of bullying situations I believe for the main reason that if it’s never happened to an individual that can’t really relate as effectively as someone who has been bullied in school. When bullying is addressed its addressed usually only once with a warning to the bully and then the bullying still counties , so essentially its brushed off by many people including school staffs and sometimes even law enforcement. …show more content…
Bullying is status type of action, I say this because bullies usually bully to show off in front of their peers and feel cool. Even though, these bullies feel that beating or taunting another individual is cool it’s in fact not and really can physical as well as mentally disrepair a child/person. In the movie Bully , it was stated by a school board attendant that you can’t watch every single event that goes on in schools which is true, but I believe if cases are constantly being reported like students said the video something should be done within the school to decline bullying
