the word talent evokes many responses from different people. to some it means exceptional an ability to perform well in music, entertainment or sports. to some others it is a word they cannot identify with simply because they feel they do not possess these ' special ' talents. a talent refers to an innate mental or artistic aptitude as opposed to acquired ability. this definition makes a few things clear. first, anything that is learnt is not talent and second, talent could be either mental or artistic.
