There needs to be a resolution revolution!
The time has come, we must stop making promises in the flesh, we cannot keep. We must start seeking God on what pleases Him, and find out what His will for our lives is.
We can proclaim all day and night that we are going to lose more weight, stop addictions, stop gossiping less, or find a mate. In truth, we can do none of those things in the flesh, which is why our New Year 's resolutions tend to fail.

The first message I ever gave was here a couple of years ago, and it was also on Romans. And in that message, I explained what it meant when certain words are used to begin a passage. Romans 8:28 begins with the word “AND”. When a passage starts with the word “AND”, what it means is, that it’s a connection. While The Odyssey might, upon first glance, involve godly intervention against humans to advance its plot, the true conflict that drives the whole story is the selfish and arrogant nature of men against other men. The human-on-human conflict is the very cause of all the other three classical conflicts, as a conflict between humans often escalates to a conflict against the Greek gods, a war against oneself, and finally a war against the powerful forces of nature. Human arrogance and pride are the sole causes of the situations that the characters, both mortal and immortal, face in The Odyssey. The human-on-human conflict in The Odyssey is the driving factor behind godly intervention, which means that a conflict involving humans and gods is, in…

Love is considered one of the greatest paradoxes in Christian life. Is it for good or for ill we offer our hearts to one another? As C.S. Lewis notes in The Four Loves, Saint John teaches that “God is love,” thus to love is to experience a more intimate relationship with God. However, passion left unchecked festers like a sore. “We may give our human loves the unconditional allegiance which we owe only to God.…

Have you found that life can be a struggle? Mine rarely drifts along with the perfection of my dreams or to the sweet songs we hear on the radio. The struggle is deeper than we normally think. Being baptized symbolizes rebirth, a fresh start, a new life with Christ as your guide. Once you have been truly reborn; in the name of Christ and once you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior, only then do you feel the newness of life within you. Romans 5:8 says that, “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” To me this verse means that even before I gave my life to Christ he had already planned to forgive me for everything I did or will do in the future. Being reborn in the name of Christ well it might be one action in one moment it carries on forever and creates the foundation of how I hold up my relationship Christ and His Kingdom.…
