Resilience in Society Our society has changed throughout the years by a variety of ways. This generation has gone through a lack of resilience. The lack of resilience has come from inflexibility of technology, unemployment and famous influences. Technology has taken over our lives, Unemployment has led to laziness, and famous influences have become bad role models to the younger generation. Resilience is shown to endure and thrive under stressful conditions. Resilience has affected our society, but I believe our country is failing due to the inflexibility were all facing. Thriving, for the success of our country is something we should all contribute to make America great again. Our society has shown resilience by the problems of unemployment, influences, and technology in this generation. Resilience is affecting our communication skills, our education, and bad reputations. Throughout the years, unemployment is becoming more and more of a problem. Being unemployed shows a lack of resilience in our society because money is an important factor in life. Inflexibility of our society is shown to those who express a bad reputation. For example, getting pregnant at such a young age can affect your whole life. Resilience is shown in the show “Teen Mom” that airs on MTV, which shows that teenagers get pregnant to be on a reality TV show to become famous. A teenager should not take the risk to get pregnant at such a young age get famous. The life term decisions to either go to school, or work full time to support your child. The pregnancy rate of this generation is higher than its have ever been. It’s very sad to see young girls pregnant and not having goals for their life.
