In the story, “My Left Foot” Christy Brown demonstrates that, although he was born with no control over his body, he grew up he became to be a famous writer. He spent his life sad to watch his mom have to take care of him and his brothers and sisters looking at him like he wasn't normal. Christy couldn't go play with his brothers. He couldn't go to school and he had to live with his parents looking at him with shame. Christy gives it his all to convince his parents that he is a normal person by writing the word mother on the floor with his left foot. Christy’s resilience and confidence help him believe anything is possible. Moving towards goals, Christy manages to improve his life Christy has taken decisive actions mostly in his childhood, when he some sort of problems or stress he would take action to get rid of it. Most importantly he has accepted who he is, change is the most important way in life and he has taken that fully and now that doesn't bother him
