Pi has always had to demonstrate resilience. He stood strong and stood up for what he believed in. A time I had to be resilient in order to overcome adversity was when I broke my arm when my parents were out of town. The story starts when my parents were leaving for charleston. I really didn't want them to go, but now looking back I know they needed a break. They packed up their things, kissed us, and told us goodbye. When my parents left, I was sad nervous and quiet. Things got better when our babysitter told us we were going to a park. I started jumping up and down out of excitement and ran upstairs. I packed my back, ate some snacks, and put on my shoes.
