Utilizing well respected psychological inventories to effectively measure personal depression and happiness inventories of participant’s, a pretest inventory will be completed by all participants, these same inventories will be completed at the conclusion of the study. Beck’s depression inventory (BDI-II), contains an inventory of twenty-one specific items, grading each item on a scale of 0-13, with an individual’s possible total value ranging from 0-63 (Wang, & Gorenstein, 2013). Additionally, researchers will utilize, the Oxford happiness inventory (OHI): to effectively measure and record the twenty-nine inventories identified by this protocol (Francis, 2014). OHI features 29 items within their inventory, these items are graded from 0-3, with a possible final score of 0-87 (Francis, 2014). OHI calculations measure the level of happiness with 0: being not happy and 87: is the very happiest (Francis. 2014).
