Residential Curriculum On College Campuses

Having the residential curriculum on college campuses is successful for many reasons. The residential curriculum is an intentional process that aligns mission, vision, and outcomes of the residence halls to IU. According to Graduate Supervisor at IU, Tony Robinson, there have been trends across the board, showing that student affairs are now moving to using the residential curriculum model. The nature of learning within higher education, have not changed, but our understanding of the learning process has changed significantly (Keeling, 20014). The residential curriculum is like a new map that can encourage students to take responsibility for their education as a process of integration and application, not as a checklist of courses and educational
