Sometimes it can be difficult to decide which park is best for your family, but not in this case. It’s very clear which park is better, but since you’re still weary i’m taking it upon myself to take an in depth look at both of them to tell you why Knotts Berry Farm is a total rip off compared to Six Flags. A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

The first day of the Ohio State Fair had visitors smiling faces turn into the look of terror within seconds as they watched a ride break apart right before their eyes. According to WCPO, the "Fire Ball" ride cracked while riders were on it throwing their bodies at least 20-30 feet into the air as they were ejected from the ride as it was swinging and spinning around. Terrified witnesses watched as the riders slammed to the concrete ground. Dr. David Evans of OSU Medical Center explained "multiple passengers were ejected at high speed" then "crashed at a significant distance from the ride." ABC News reports 18-year-old Columbus, Ohio, resident Tyler Jarrell, lost his life when he was flung into the air while malfunctioning ride fell apart.…

On September 11th, 2001, 19 members of the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda high jacked four airliners and executed suicide attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the pentagon in DC, and the last one was in a field in Somerset County in Pennsylvania. I am going to give a review on the two planes that hit the Twin Towers in New York City. At 8:45 am on a clear Tuesday morning, an American Airlines Boeing 767 was high jacked midflight and went on to crash into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The impact left a burning hole near the 80th floor of the 100 story high sky scraper.…

There can always be better designs and more warnings, but to a certain extent the warnings are not read and the designs could make the ride not as exciting. To establish a successful negligence claim we can use the negligence test. The test consists of establishing a Duty, Breach of that Duty, Causation, and Injury. The theme park owes a duty of care to the consumers, by providing entertainment that is well designed for safety, that it is regularly inspected for safety, that people are warned of the potential risks, and that the people are supervised to keep from misuse. In this case, the ride was designed long ago and used in many locations with very little harm to people.…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

In just a few seconds they would be off, gone to travel over the track in a bright blur. The screams enclosed the car with the force of adrenaline as it appeared and disappeared in a flash. I heard the happy and terrified screams of the people on the coaster and the booming voice of the ones controlling it while strolling around Paradise Pier in Disneyland with my family. At this point, I hadn't been on the roller coaster yet. I preferred to keep myself on the ground and not on the coaster going up side down into crazy drops.…

It was the largest, most thrilling roller coaster yet to be found. I didn't believe it but knowing my best friend Prisa she was not gonna let me miss out on as she would always say, “once in a lifetime opportunities”. It was a hot, sunny day as the sun lit up the whole park. The blunt air had no wind or even a soft gentle breeze. It was just plain old humid and to add on to that, we were crowded with a solid 200 people in the line,…

However, just as I said this the spiritless roller coaster attendant strapped me in permanently ensuring I couldn’t back out. After the attendants strapped everyone in, they did their whole spiel on how we were going to have a great time, but the words muddled in my mind as I was more focused on breathing. The car moved onward and screeched at us as if in warning. Then suddenly the car stopped, I’m pretty sure just to spite us.…
