Introduction

Have you ever heard of a man who called Walt Disney? Maybe it is a name that many of us quite familiar with. Walter Elias Disney, the founder of the Walt Disney Company, who has expanded the business from filming to amusement park industry with the first Disneyland was set up at California in 1955. It is a great place bringing us lots of fun, dreams and fantasy since then.

With so much attractions and excitements included in the park, there are many tourists who love to go to each year. We could now find their footsteps in California, Florida, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The concept for a Disneyland was deeply built in Walt Disney’s mind for many years. He was thinking of a place entertaining the tourists and his fans who wished to visit at the beginning. However, he had soon found that he should have a site in a greater extent where both the kids and adults may have fun together. The project for the first Disneyland park was finally being carried out after much considerations. The park has been disclosed to the public since 18th of July, 1955.

The second project for a distinctive place executing the “dream” of Walt Disney was found to be borne in the place of Florida. However, Walt Disney was not

Wenhe YUE (2009) pointed out that the unique culture of France would be a main reason to cause the failure of Disneyland. Many French commented that Disneyland Park in Paris do not match their lifestyle or eating habits. For examples, they have drinking habit but Disneyland Paris didn’t sell any alcohol in the park. Meanwhile, as most of the animations/ concept of Disneyland animation were generated from the European Literature, and therefore the visitors from Europe would not feel the fantasy of the park as they are too familiar with those animations. Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris is the only country that the dominant language of is French. Then the visitors from other countries would have lower motivation to visit
