There are many environmental scientists that are rather notable. Each one of them have made great achievements in the environmental science field. One well known environmental scientists is former president Theodore Roosevelt. Theodore Roosevelt was a man that was fond of nature. To begin, Theodore Roosevelt was born in New York on October 27, 1858. Roosevelt spent four years at Harvard College. He eventually went on to study in Germany for a short period of time. Theodore Roosevelt became president at the age of 42. Roosevelt decided it was necessary to preserve our resources and environment. Next, because Roosevelt wanted to conserve land, he established many national parks and national monuments. For example, Crater Lake National Park
