Research Paper On The Velveteen Rabbit

Thinking back as far as I can, my favorite book was The Velveteen Rabbit. I have very few memories of this book except every time I read it I would cry at certain parts of it. I recall crying because the rabbit wanted to be loved by a little boy so that he could become real, only to be thrown away and realize being real isn't something you are but instead something you feel. The book brings back feeling from when I have felt similar to the rabbit, wondering about how to become something you aren't and having to come to the realization that you can only be what you are intended to be.
