As the world has developed over time, many people have started to believe that thirty is the new twenty. Unfortunately, this notion is not necessarily true. People have started to postpone their responsibilities and neglect opportunities presented to them in their twenties. As a result, they struggle to not only become financially stable, but also to settle down later on in life. The disregard of the crucial developmental stage in the twenties has a negative effect on people. The choices that people make in their twenties do powerfully influence the rest of their lives because it is a crucial developmental period for the brain and the foundation must be laid in order to set up a more successful career and family life.
