“Suicide isn’t cowardly. You want to know what’s cowardly? Treating someone so bad mentally or physically that they want to end their lives.” That is a quote from Albert Camus, a french philosopher, author, and journalist. Bullies need to serve jail time for their actions because it causes people to have anxiety, depression, and even worse to commit suicide. Bullying is the cause of about 6,078 deaths each year. On average, one person commits suicide every 16 minutes. We need to decrease this with the best of our ability. It’s time to make a move. To begin with, bullying causes anxiety ; a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease. Typically bullies like to make fun of how someone looks or because they are different just so they can get a crowd to laugh. For some people this is a big deal because they now don’t want to come to school or public places, get involved in activities, socialize with others, or do public speaking. At least one class will want you to do a presentation, speech, or have you do something like talk in front of the class. Someone from my school last year had really bad anxiety and took a zero every time we had to do something like this. When I talked to her and asked why she told me it was because she was bullied really badly and didn’t like to speak publically anymore. People should be able to

This is a big deal because nobody should feel so miserable and incomplete because of someone else that they don’t want to be alive anymore. People who force others to kill themselves intentionally deserves to be charged with a crime! There is no need to bully someone to that point. Suicide has increased a lot over the years and I want to be the generation that decreases this problem. You only live once, we need to make the best out of it. Remember, bullying is the cause of 6, 078 deaths per year according to statistics from Emory University. And suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for 15-24 year
