It roams around every so often, I tend to watch it walk around as much as I can. I have sympathy for it. It’s like we’re connected somehow. I have no doubt the deer is my spirit animal. There are just so many reasons why!

Survival in the wild is strenuous for all living beings, even for those adapted to nature. Wolves, even with their strong statures, their powerful senses of smell, and their sharp canines are no exception. Storms, fires, starvation, pollution, and other animals are just a few of the dangers of living in the densely packed forests that wolves tend to make their habitats. However, although humans have their own needs to take care of, kind and determined people can go the extra mile just to protect and nurture weaker animals, despite the difficulty of doing so. Some of these goodhearted people have invested in creating places of shelter for injured and sick wolves who are unable to return to the wilderness.…

Some individuals may argue that pit bulls should not be allowed to be kept as pets due to a few of the vicious crimes they have committed in the past, however, the entire pit bull breed should not be punished for the act of a few of their counterparts. Pit bulls, as long as they have a positive home environment, the proper social interaction, and get plenty of exercise are no more dangerous than any other dog and should be allowed to be kept as pets. Pit bulls, in order for them to behave well, need an owner that will work with them and give them a proper environment. Before taking on the challenge of raising a pit bull, one must know that it does require a certain…

You may be scared of pitbulls or scared that they will attack you, but there are multiple facts that could go against your reasoning. Pitbulls should not be stereotyped as a vicious breed of dog. I say this because they actually used to be considered the nanny dog and because pitbulls themselves are not dangerous, they are, unfortunately, trained to fight and be violent the majority of the time. To begin with, pitbulls may be marked as dangerous in present day, but they used to be known as the nanny dog.…

My First Deer One brisk 30 degree day in January, when I was nine years old, was a day for which I was extremely excited. My dad got me out of school earlier that day, so we could go deer hunting. I had already shot a turkey the year before, so guns were nothing new to me. We made a quick stop at my house so that we could pick up the .243 youth edition, a really short barreled .243, that my dad had bought just about a month before so that we could go hunting, and I would actually be able to handle the gun. At this point we did not have the hunting land that we do today, so we went to my grandpa’s house and hunted in the clearing of trees behind his house.…
