Some animals snow leopards prefer are sheep, deer, donkeys, mice, and much more! But, when times are tough and there is competition between food, snow leopards are both prey and predators. Younger cubs (baby snow leopards) are most likely to become prey when there is competition and adult snow leopards can be their predators. In order for the snow leopards to live in their habitat and hunt down their prey, they need adaptations to help them. Snow leopards have different features for different uses. Their long tail is an adaption to their habitat. Since their habitat is steep and rocky, the long tail helps balance themselves. Snow leopards also have gigantic paws. This helps them walk on snow. Another adaption is their hind legs. Their hind legs increases their ability to jump in their steep and rugged habitat. The last helpful adaption a snow leopard consist of is their long and thick coats. In the winter their thick coats help them stay warm but, in the summer it's not as …show more content…

Though the snowshoe hare is agile and small they are good in numbers that help with easy findings for the Lynx. Another great example of predator and prey is the black bear and fish that swim in the rivers throughout the taiga. Fish make easy pickings for the black bear as they generally don’t migrate to extremely far from the river banks and fish are so highly populated. An example of a super predator within the taiga biome would be the grey fox upon the lynx. Although a lynx has superior hearing a pack of wolves may very easily overcome its prey for an easy…

Although Daudi’s death cast a melancholy shadow over the joy of the book, the conclusion seemed rushed, and not fully developed compared to the rest of the book. I did like Rosa’s quote about Daudi being “home”, but I did not like Masozi’s and Ramla’s reaction to Daudi’s demise. They did not seem as depressed as they should have been.…

Student and administrator planners of event scheduled the walkout will last 17 minutes, 1 minute for every life that was lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
