I did my paper on Shel Silverstein.Shel silverstein was a successful kids author, cartoonist, poet, and folk songwriter. He was born in Chicago Illinois on September 25, 1930.He started drawing and writing a young age. He went to study at Chicago academy of fine arts (known today as Art institute of Chicago) but then dropped out to join the army in 1953.
