There are differing opinions about the ethical treatment of animals at SeaWorld. SeaWorld was founded in March 15, 1959 by George Millay, Milt Shedd, Ken Norris and David DeMott. Their ideas grew into a marine zoological park. It grew into the marine park we know today. Shamu was one of the first orcas captured alive. This made her a very popular orca that a lot people knew about and wanted to go see. There are still a lot of disagreements with how she was treated. People still argue against the treatments of animals at SeaWorld. Based on research, SeaWorld treats their animals ethically and that they care for the animals they have at their parks. SeaWorld does more good than harm in many ways.
Kacie Kripner was a trainer at SeaWorld for seven years. She spoke out and told the true story about her time working and interacting with the animals.
