Sea ice is iced ocean water. It grows, and melts in the ocean. In opposition, icebergs, glaciers, and ice shelves stay float in the ocean but flow on land. Most of the year, sea ice is covered with snow. Also, sea ice become while the winter months and melts while the summer months, however a few sea ice still in all year in many regions. Even thinking sea ice occurs chiefly in the Polar Regions, it affects our global climate and the movement of ocean waters, this is the important of sea ice.
