Before going into our scavenger hunt, I thought that communicating with people without speech would not be a hard task; however, after approaching our first destination, I quickly realized that this scavenger hunt would be more challenging than I originally thought. Every person that we tried to communicate with seemed very confused and gave us funny facial expressions. My group signed to each other, and the people that we were trying to communicate with were definitely wondering what was happening. Each person continued to talk to us, even though we were not talking back to them.
