Santa Claus is a huge part of Christmas. He was real but his name was St. Nicholas and he was born in modern day Turkey. He got to be Santa by giving dowry to three girls so they could marry before their father could sell the and make them prostitutes. This is why “St.Nick became the subject of many lessons.” He was a bishop/monk.
