In one classroom the teachers were putting the kids in the bathroom and the shooting walked and shot and killed everyone in the room. Sandy Hook Shooting Conspiracies The shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary was a tragic event, with twenty six dead and only questions remaining, it’s hard not to sympathize with the families of those lost. There is a movement, however, that claims the shooting was false (Spaeth). The shooting is believed to have been staged in order to pave the way for stricter gun control (Salazar). Conspiracy theorists, calling themselves Truthers, have presented evidence to support their claims numerous times in attempts to convince the general population.…

Ever since the Sandy Hook shooting in late 2012, it has become glaringly apparent an alarming amount of the United States’ populace and lawmakers would sooner sacrifice the lives of children than ever dare consider the idea of constricting some of the freedom a gun carries. It might be a tad bit of an overgeneralization, and obviously very few would ever admit to believing they fall into that category, but the history of gun violence in the US shows the lack of attempts and resistance to improved weapon laws speaks louder than their words. Following the aforementioned shooting at Sandy Hook in 2012, there has been roughly 63 school shootings, give or take, ranging from only one being injured to over a dozen being murdered. After all these…

The third and most recent large mass killing happened in Newtown, Connecticut at Sandy Hook Elementary school. The shootings were arguably the most heart-wrenching deaths to recover from. It happened on December 12th, 2012, when Adam Lanza shot his mother at his own home, then drove to the elementary school and murdered many children and teachers. This massacre was different due to the fact that most of the casualties were First graders. Adam shot his way into the school and through the school’s security system.…

On April 20, 1999, Littleton held their breaths as thirteen lives were torn from unsuspecting arms. In the rush of the moment, memories were whisked away by blindsiding bullets and two boys with one malicious dream. Attempts were made in vain to try to make sense of the massacre but none would come close for some time. Through words, Cullen disentangles the violent psyches of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold as they imagined, illustrated, and executed the attack in his nonfiction novel, Columbine. Disturbing accounts from the mouths of victims and parents of the shooters are also included to assure that no detail was spared.…

Twenty-six people (20 students between the ages of 6 and 7 years old and six adults) were shot and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School by 20-year-old Adam Lanza in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14 2012. At some point before Adam went to Sandy Hook Elementary School, investigators believed that he killed his mother, Nancy Lanza. Many things in our world anger me, but when I hear that our new President has just made it legal for mentally ill Americans to purchase guns, I go ballistic. The second amendment states that we are given the right to bear arms legally, but I think that our founding fathers did not mean that someone mentally ill is allowed to purchase firearms. Events occur all around the world that give evidence as to why firearms should not even be allowed to be purchased even by the average human being. The Newtown shooting occurred at Sandy Hook elementary school in 2012 and it is a day we will never forget.…
