Pope Francis is a Pope of many firsts. He is the first pope to be named Francis, the first to live in an apartment rather than the Papal Palace, and he is the most humble pope yet. Pope Francis is extremely popular with the masses, and has helped not only the Church, but the entire world by raising awareness for the poor, and encouraging the leaders of the world to be better leaders. A large issue that Pope Francis rose awareness for and fought hard against is sexual assault, especially when the assaulted are children. As sad as it may be, a running joke for those who are against the Catholic Church is that the priests assault children.
