Playing field hockey is my passion and an activity that I devote a lot of time to. I will always love the sport and it will always be a part of who I am. But it didn’t start out being as fun and enjoyable as it is now. I enjoy many things about the sport of field hockey. For example, in the summer I enjoy attending camps, in the fall I enjoy playing with my school team, in the winter I like playing indoor field hockey with my club team, and in the spring I enjoy participating in college tournaments. I tried to calm myself down by telling myself that it would be fun. Then after a little, the coach put me in the game and I wasn’t very aggressive at first, not like I had been earlier playing on my own team with kids my age and skill level. All I could do was to play my

I was terrified. I would try my hardest to get a good spot on the team by copying what the other girls did. But then I found out that I needed to do the things my coach said and forget what the other girls were doing and focus on what I was doing in my own way and that i needed to pay attention of how I was playing and concentrate on how all the girls passed the puck and that I needed to start being more confident of I play. After a long taxing day of school in the frigid month of January, I got into a car with my teammate and headed off to a varsity hockey game against Bridgewater Raynham. As soon as I open up the transparent glass doors, I can feel the brisk air brush upon my face. Instantly, the fond memory of my first rink experience poped up in my head when my cousin got an assist for his Norwood Mustangs varsity hockey team. I was young, only around six or seven years old. I remember him having a clear shot, but passing the puck to his linemate for the sure goal.…
