I have decided to choose Pharmacy Technician as my health care profession this field deals with drugs and making sure that we give the patient the right drug that the doctor has prescribed. In a pharmacy a technician has many different jobs to do in the pharmacy like for example checking the drugs to make sure they aren’t expired. If the technician doesn’t check to the drugs for expiration it will be a danger for the patient that is receiving the drug. They also have other jobs like in putting the prescription into the computer and maintaining the patient records that are on the computer. In a community pharmacy technicians have a lot more tasks they have to get done which are meeting and greeting patients presenting or picking up prescriptions,
