When I think about paraphilias, the first thing that crosses my mind is inappropriate behavior. The inapproaite behavior that’s expressed is sexul in nature and unusual that normally becomes addictive as time passes (Johnson, 2014). Those who are addicted to child pornography or likes to walk on the beach nude, for example, is committing an act of paraphilias. An act of paraphilia is not always considered a criminal act despite the act. In this case, it all depends on the laws that’s in place for an area. As far as child pornography, anyone who is caught making, distributing or purchasing this paraphilia will be subject to both state and federal charges no matter where the individual lives (“Child Pornography,” 2015).
