One of the largest cat species in the world is the tiger, or it’s scientific name Panthera Tigris. It can reach a whole human body length! It’s white stomach and a pattern of black stripes of reddish-orange fur is it’s most known feature it has. Mostly cats hate being drenched in water, but tiger is one of the few species of cats that actually love to spend time in the water to swim, cool down, and even hunt. The tiger is classified in the genus Panthera. Other animals under this is the lion, leopard, and the jaguar. Or their scientific names as Panthera Leo, Panthera pardus, and Panthera onca.
