Orthodontist Do you want a fun job that gets good salary? Orthodontist make about $20-$240 an hour, which is really good. They also make about $160,000 to $200,000 or above that, Georgia pays around $227,000 a year. Being an orthodontist could be nasty, but it seems fun and sometimes you don’t do a lot and still get a lot of money. If you find the right place and work hard and do your best you could get a lot of money. There is many colleges that you can go to to prepare to be an orthodontist but, you need about 10 years of college to become an Orthodontist. It takes 4 years of college to get a bachelor’s degree, 4 years of dental school, then another 2 more years in a postdoctoral program devoted to the study of orthodontics.
