Oprah Winfrey was a philanthropic woman who came from rural Mississippi. Her life journey was not easy as other woman did. When she was at six, she was cared by her grandmother on a farm in rural Mississippi. Her grandmother taught her to read at a young age. Her grandmother gave the reading skill to make her smarter than other women. She found that reading was her treasure of knowledge, which created her popularity right away.
In 1984, Oprah's rising began when she took over a local Chicago talk show, which immediately became The Oprah Winfrey Show. Then, in 1985, she realized her dream of becoming an actress, earning critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination for her supporting role as Sophia in the film The Color Purple. A year later, her
