Research Paper On Narcos

Pablo Escobar is one of the most infamous drug dealers of all time, and the new show Narcos will be based on Escobar and part of his life. Narcos has a combination of everything that makes a great show, with violent, dramatic and intimate scenes. It also tells the story of Steve Murphy, an up and coming DEA agent who was assigned to move from Miami to Columbia and take down Escobar and the Medellin Cartel. Murphy also gives a first person narrative of his accounts throughout the show in between scenes. Escobar and most of the other people from Columbia will mostly speak in Spanish, with English sub titles underneath, Murphy and his DEA team will speak mostly English, giving the show a sense of authenticity switching the languages back and forth. Wagner Moura is playing Pablo Escobar, and Boyd Holbrook will be playing Steve Murphy. To help prepare for the role of Steve Murphy, Boyd actually had spent time with the real Steve Murphy to talk to him about his encounters and Boyd even trained with Steve and other DEA agents for a week. Wagner also took some steps to help prepare himself for his role of Pablo, before the show started he had to learn Spanish, so he moved to Columbia and had enrolled at a University in Medellin, while in Medellin Wagner also wanted to get a sense of Pablo and what he was like, so he visited places Pablo would normally go, even going to a soccer match and rooting for the same team Pablo did.
