Monterrey, is a city found in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Monterrey, which is a magnificent city, is the capital of Nuevo Leon. Nuevo Leon is in the northeastern part of Mexico. Monterrey is surrounded by Sierra Madre Occidental, which means this city is in the mountains.
Founded in 1579, Monterrey was an ancient and unspoilt city. During the war between Mexico and USA, it was captured by USA. In 1909, it was part of a devastating flood but the city continued to develop rapidly. Today Nuevo Leon is a bustling state and the third largest state economy in Mexico.
Nearby Monterrey it is “Parque ecológico Chipinque” or the tranquil city of “San Pedro de las Garzas”. There are a lot of things to do, like visit the “Parque fundidora” or the museum
