Monika, The illegal trade of drug, weapons, and humans trafficking shapes many countries’ economies; however, with the country’s GDP the income those activities are never included. Even though no country would ever add this to their GDP, it is something to consider when determine the wealthy of a country or area. Even though illegal black market activities are often denied by, the government they do take place and make many people a lot of money. Even cash only transaction on labor is something that is never consider for GDP. A country could be a lot wealthier than it seems on paper, but have enough reserves to stay afloat.
