Malala Yousafzai is my modern day hero. Malala was born July 12,1997 in Mingora, Pakistan. Malala stuck up for the education of girls. She was an activist going around the world speaking about the prohibition on the education of girls. Current day Malala is 19 years old, she is getting ready to go to university. Her parents are Ziauddin Yousafzai, Tor Perki Yousafzai. And she has two siblings who are Atal Yousafzai and Khushal Yousafzai.

Malala is a brave hero because even though she got death threats she still kept speaking for girls education. When the Taliban took over her country she started writing anonymous blog about the prohibition of girls education. As soon as the Taliban new it was her she started receiving death
