Leonardo Da Vinci was an amazing artist and he studied many things like nature, anatomy, animals all in front of him. He studied it well enough to put it onto a piece of paper. Leonardo did this because we never had any access to taking pictures so he thought this would be a great way to replace a photo. Leonardo Da Vinci once said “To develop a complete state of mind : study the science of art and study the art of science.
