Leoardo de Vinci
Leonardo de Vinci was an amazing artist. He developed a new way of incorporating perspective into painting. His paintings had a life-like quality, he was able to this by his unique use of light. His teacher, Verrocchio, allowed to contribute to his painting by adding an angel. On the completion of the work, Leonardo’s angel out shined his master’s work. His master, Verrocchio actually never painted again, because he felt if his student was better then him then he should move on. He went on to be an accomplished sculptor.
During his time, “natural perspective” was used. It was a slight use of perspective to make things appear more natural, but it was sloppy and unprecise. He developed a more mathematical approach by using
