“I tried to drown my sorrows, but the bastards learned how to swim.” Krida had to deal with anxiety and depression, but she got through it. It's a great message to send to teens, adults or anyone. She was inspired by herself and how she survived polio, depression and a bus crash! Khalo was her own muse. She was a globally minded activist who painted and empowered women. She wasn't completely perfect though, she was married to Diego Rivera but, had a hidden affair. I only included that last tid-bit to show she isn't perfect, she has flaws. Like everyone
