According to The New York Times, a former Boulder, Colorado, police detective who spent almost two years looking into the death of 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey claims that he and other detectives concluded that Patsy Ramsey, the girl's mother, was the one who killed the child (Janofsky 2000).
