John Wooden was an outstanding basketball coach who is very well known to this day. Throughout Wooden’s coaching career, he won 10 NCAA championships and was the first person to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. But this took a lot of work. One reason why he got so far in the industry was because Wooden had his players focus on the process it took to get better, not the results of their gameplay. Since he didn’t appear to care about the results of his players as much as a typical coach, he is often misunderstood for not caring if they win or lose, but in reality, he cares.
