Research Paper On Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the second part of the Trinity. Some people, who believe in other religions, doubt that Jesus was the Son of God and think that He was just a good man and a prophet. Jesus Christ is the human form of God, who was sent down to Earth to live as humans live, to tell people about God, and to show people the extent of God’s power. While Jesus was on Earth, He claimed to be many things, including the Son of God. In John 1:1, Jesus is referred to as being “the Word” and it also says that He was “with God” and “was God” (NKJV). So, Jesus claimed to be the Word, who was with God, and who was God. Later in the book of John, it says that Jesus “became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14 NKJV). Once again, Jesus claimed to be the only Son of the Father, who became man and lived here on Earth (Hunt 54). Jesus also claimed to be the only way to God the Father. In John 14:16, Jesus says, “I am the way and, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (NKJV). Other people say that Jesus was a great amount of things. Some say that He, as God, was a Feudal Debtor, some call Him the Heavenly Bridegroom, and to many, He is a gracious Savior. However, He rose after 3 days of being in the tomb and He appeared to all of His disciples and many other people. After 40 days of fellowshipping with His disciples, Jesus ascended into Heaven on a cloud from the Mount of Olives in front of all of His followers and disciples. Jesus is still important in the lives of Christians today because Christians believe that one-day, Jesus will return in the same way that He ascended into Heaven.
