Research Paper On Italy

The culture of Italy is very interesting to me because both my mom and my dad have ancestry there. The towns are very small and most people know each other. They also have many festivals and hundreds of people crowd the streets and have a great time. They also are big on religion they are Roman Catholic they believe in one god. The nation of Italy has very nice landscape as an example Sicily has rugged mountains one of the biggest ones is Mount Etna it is very well known. Many houses are in the mountains with very nice views over the cities. Then there are the small towns and the homes are more like brick apartments that are very close to food markets and restaurants. According to the book “World Italy” it states “Shopping for food is often done at small, local markets stocked with fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat”. They are held in the bigger cities and most of the people that live there attend to the festival. People crowd the streets and there are many food stands with very good Italian dishes including desert. Festivals are very common they have a lot of them, they have a festival for almost every holiday they have. Some people make masks and dress up in very dresses or cloaks. They have music played by many different instruments. They also have dancers that dance to the music that is played. The streets are lit up with Italian flags and lights.
