Scientific Understanding of Black Holes “A black hole is a region in space where the pulling force of gravity is so strong that light is not able to escape” (Dunbar, 2015). This occurs because there is matter being pressed into a small space. Some black holes are the results of dying stars. Black holes are invisible because no light can escape. But, scientists have space telescopes with special instruments can locate black holes. This makes it possible to observe the behavior of the material and the stars that are close by the black holes. It is thought that black holes were formed during the beginning of the universe, soon after the big bang. Black holes form when the center of a massive star collapses in upon itself. Cooper was able to go into the black hole and communicate with his daughter to tell her what to do. The movie used an exotic object that twists its infalling disk of dust and gas that form complex shapes, with the effect of a complicated gravitational lensing. This created an astronomical experience in which black holes wrap the light emitted by stars and other bodies located farther away.
How the Video Inaccurately Showed Black Holes The black hole that was in inaccurately showed in the movie because it wasn’t scientifically as accurate sa it should be. It showed the light inside of the the black hole. Also anything that goes into a black holes never comes back out. In the movie, Cooper was able to get out of the black hole. He was able to escape the black hole and survive. This is scientifically inaccurate. The main reason that it was shown inaccurately was because they actually showed the black hole. You can’t see what’s inside the black hole and you aren’t able to see the black when you’re in space.
