In December 1777-June 1778 George Washington made a winter camp for the Continental Army in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. It is difficult place to live. I would not quit because there is a lot of people sick but not of people dying, Washington is getting help, the conditions are bad, but there is a “spirit of Alacrity,” and I don’t want to be a summer soldier because freedom is worth fighting for.
