"It is so freaking scary. Right now, I wish my children could leave so they would not have to experience -- and also my husband and I can focus on each other. It's not easy here," said a resident living in the Caribbean islands. "I want to get back because I want to start to rebuild. It's sinking in, you're feeling the impact of the hurricane. After a day or two you realize you have lost everything," Elvin Burton, another resident of the islands. Burton is emotionally hurt knowing that he has lost everything in the hurricane. A big concern for the residents of the islands is that it is going to take many years for the community to form back. They basically have to start from scratch and build their way up through the funds that they have received from different parts of the world. Residents of the Caribbean islands are extremely thankful of all the companies and organizations who contributed and who are continuing to contribute to help repair the damages that Hurricane Irma has left the community with. This event has left the community with tragic memories, however, it taught the world to look after one another and to work together as one
