It was beautiful day. The skies were clear and the weather was perfect. Despite this, the neighborhood seemed empty. Planes were flying in and out of Houston. Why were people leaving? Perhaps it had to do with the threat that lingered just at the coast of Texas. Hurricane Harvey was coming. Hurricane Harvey impacted all of Texas even if the Hurricane never even reached west Texas. Every last person felt a spark of dread and compassion in our hearts for those directly affected. Hurricane Harvey swept through east Texas and caused incredible amounts of damage.
