Human trafficking is a serious crime and it happens in the united states everyday and most do notknow it happens. Human Trafficking is a form of modern slavery but the difference is there are many different types of trafficking, especially in the united states. Prositution is the same but with the exception that prostitutes have pimps that sell them on the streets [ CITATION Tin15 \l 1033 ]. “The average age for women andchildren to be forced into sex trafficking and prostitution is ages 12 and 14. Anf th youngest to bereported is age 9.” Said a survivor who was recruited into prostitution at age 14 [ CITATION Tin15 \l 1033 ]. She also explains that most girls on the streets have pimps that they work for. They pay the pimp in return they receive protection form other pimps or gangs. These pimps are very aggressive, abusive and brutal, Drug trafficking“ Human trafficking is the second largest criminal enterprise on the world, after drug smuggling and arms dealing.” [ CITATION 10f14 \l 1033 ]. For drug traffikers they target children to use them as a drug mule. They make the children swallow the drugs until they get to where they are suppose to be. Then the kids are forced to vomit the drug up for the buyer.
